Mt. Lebanon Extended Day Program (MLEDP) has 10 school locations which meet the educational and safety standards, and accredited staff licensing requirements of the state of Pennsylvania. Our staff provide educational assistance to children in grades 1-5 on a daily basis. Teaching is provided for math, reading, social studies, science and language arts programs. Our teachers educate children using the Kolb Experiential Learning Model.

All the MLEDP centers and programs are licensed by the State of Pennsylvania. Each center’s staff strives to reach and maintain the stringent quality standards of the State of PA. All MLEDP staff meets and exceeds the regulatory standards. Our staff includes members who earned Masters Degrees and additional postgraduate studies in various child related areas, Bachelor’s Degrees, as well as either Associate’s degrees or are currently college students studying in this field.

MLEDP provides enriching educational and recreational programs in a safe and nurturing environment for children in kindergarten through 5th grade. Each day our professionals and support staff create the child-centered programming that enables children to have fun, learning in a Experiential way while making responsible choices to be used throughout their lives.
MLEDP operates 3 different programs throughout the year:
Kindergarten Care:
Operates two sessions; Morning and Afternoon
Morning Session: Open 7:00 AM to 12:30 PM
Afternoon Session: Open 11:15 AM through 6:30 PM
School Year Care:
Open Before & After School, grades 1st through 5th: Opens before school at 7:00 AM and operates until 6:30 PM after school is out.
Summer Fun:
Camp-Like Atmosphere for youth, grades K through 5th, starting at: 7:00 AM and running all day until 6:30 PM
